Adecco is actively seeking a dedicated Maintenance Engineer – Aircraft to join our client’s Abbotsford-based team. This role is responsible for performing, inspecting, and certifying high-quality aircraft maintenance work in compliance with Transport Canada and organizational standards. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, a commitment to safety, and the ability to mentor junior technicians.

  • Pay Rate: $38.58–$44.73/hour.

  • Location: Abbotsford, BC

  • Job type: Permanent | Full-time

Responsibilities:  

  • Perform repairs, inspections, and modifications in accordance with customer check packages, Transport Canada Regulations (CARS), Technical Airworthiness Manual (TAM), Quality Control Procedures (QCP), SOPs, CPS, and all applicable manuals.

  • Complete all documentation, reporting, and certification duties with accuracy and adherence to compliance requirements.

  • Provide coaching, guidance, and direction to junior technicians, ensuring work is completed efficiently and skills development is supported.

  • Maintain full compliance with health, safety, security, and HR policies.

  • Adhere to approved quality control standards and ensure safe work practices are applied at all times.

  • Use basic computer applications for reporting, documentation, and maintenance tracking.

  • Perform additional duties as required.

Requirements:  

  • Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.

  • Certificate in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (approved by TCA or applicable governing body).

  • 48+ months of AME experience performing maintenance, repair, and modification duties.

  • Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, components, and avionics maintenance.

  • Excellent communication skills—fluent written and spoken English.

  • Skilled in accurate documentation, reporting, and quality control.

  • Familiar with safe work practices and industry-standard maintenance processes.

  • Ability to mentor junior technicians with basic leadership and coaching capability.

  • Proficient with word processing, spreadsheets, and database software.
