Location: 10 Canning Street, Brantford, Ontario
 
Job Title: Skilled Operator 
 
Candidates that thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a continuous learning and improvement mind-set may be a fit to join our team.  The position requires ownership for quality and detail orientated tasks with a focus on safety. 
 
Job Requirements:
~Set-up, operate and shutdown of the bagging system for frozen protein products.
~Set-up, operate and shutdown the production line
~Complete quality checks to meet all customer and company expectations regarding bag weight, piece count and seal integrity.
~Requires operation of equipment at multiple levels. 
~Demonstrated ability to work safely.
~Excellent attendance history.
~All personal protective equipment provided.​
~Work environment has variable temperatures (mainly cool).
~May be required to work overtime and variable shifts.
~Aptitude test may be required with acceptable result.
~Ability to read, write, and communicate in English. A test may be required.
~May be required to train others.
~Possess mechanical aptitude, comfortable operating equipment.
~Some secondary education
~Food handling certificate or skills an asset
~Commitment to safety
~Engagement and adhere to standard operating procedures, health and safety, good manufacturing practices
~Other duties as assigned by Management
