Adecco is currently hiring a temporary full-time detail-oriented Assemblers to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and calibrating mechanical and electrical components according to precise specifications and standards. This role requires strong technical skills, follows safety protocols, and works well in a fast-paced team environment.

 This role requires security clearance as per CGP which would be open to Permanent Residents and Canadian Citizens.

  • Pay rate: $18.00/hour

  • Location: Mississauga, ON

  • Shifts: Days: 7:00am – 3:30pm

  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Test, calibrate parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances to product specifications.

  • Lifting 30lbs or less with moderate machine operation

  • Uses hand tools and power tools according to product specifications Participate and effectively communicate with Team to prevent defects, increase efficiency, and improve all around safety Perform preventative maintenance task and standard start checks as per ETQ.

  • Work to drawings and test documents

Requirements: 

  • (Specific expectations in the first 1 month) Certified to all mandatory Health And Safety (HSE) requirements Successful completion of the company Technician training program

  • As required by Cell Training Matrix Completion of task within standard times and quality levels using standard work

  • Adherence to all safety, ESD, housekeeping policies and procedures as per ETQ Attributes/Skills

  • Good manual dexterity and hand to eye coordination

  • Good team player Able to work from drawings and written instructions

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment to at TAKT time

  • Able to multi task

  • Flexible to work on a Second or Third shift when/if required

Qualifications:

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada

  • College Diploma/Degree and or equivalent Military experience.

  • Experience in electronic assembly.

  • Experience in troubleshooting down to the component level.

  • Experience in power electronics for analog and digital circuits.

  • Security clearance as per CGP is required

  • Working knowledge of English language, good verbal, and written communication skills

  • Lifting is generally at or below 30Lbs. with moderate repetitions.

  • Moderate exposure to machinery, chemical, biological, noise, and physical risks is anticipated. Operation of carts and lifts is considered at least Industrial and may be considered Heavy as determined by other exposures.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned

  • Requires flexibility and understanding that all staff may be required to perform duties outside their normal area of expertise to meet the mission and goals of the Company
