About the Opportunity: As the successful candidate you will have a Legal Assistant or Law Clerk Diploma or equivalent, and a minimum of 1 – 2 years experience in a similar role. Your responsibility will be to provide administrative support to a Partner, including calendar management, digital and physical file maintenance, composing correspondence, communication with clients, lawyers and other professionals, opening and closing files as well as billing. The responsibilities will largely involve preparation of Wills and Powers of Attorney, preparing corporate annuals and providing administrative support in the Partner’s corporate/commercial practice.

You possess excellent organizational skills, with high attention to detail, and must have the ability to multitask, all of which will assist you in working in this fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as a positive attitude are also a must for dealing effectively with clients, other lawyers and professionals in the interests of our clients. Strong knowledge of MS Office is a must and knowledge in the applications of Emergent, Adobe Pro and PC Law are considered assets.
