Job Description

What is the opportunity?

The Data engineering team in I&TS plays a critical role to implement Data strategy.  The team supports data architecture processes including gap analysis and enterprise data modeling, centralizes heterogeneous data sources, builds automated data pipelines, custom APIs to meet Data and Digital needs of stakeholders. We are looking for an experienced full stack developer who is quick to adapt to next generation technologies and enthusiastic about analyzing and automating data and building solid products and solutions

What will you do?

As a Full stack developer, you will design and develop Data and digital solutions and integrate with across multiple systems across various geographies. This role will encompass an end-to-end delivery of Web portal, APIs (inbound and outbound) and Data services as per Software Delivery lifecycle.

  • Design and develop Web portals (Single Page Application)

  • Build and publish/consume APIs leveraging Cloud based Data sets as per Enterprise standards and security guidelines through container-based solutions

  • Collaborate with Data Engineers, process engineers and business stakeholders

  • Design, lead and deliver the application functionalities along with the team members

What do you need to succeed?

Must Have:

  • At least 5+ years experience having advanced knowledge and hands on experience with Front End, Angular Framework, Next.js (React) , Modern JavaScript and SPA Platform

  • Proven track record on developing and Designing complex Angular Application from the scratch

  • Familiarity and experience with best practices of the Front End application design and development, the UI look and feel and Java Script/ Type Script, HTML, CSS, and UI look and Feel

  • Deep understanding of Development best practices, Design and Analysis and End to End application development to work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions

  • Hands on experience with WebServices (Rest/SOAP), Cloud Technology and Modern Cloud Application development, creating security and data protection settings

  • Experience with DataBases, Queries and SQL and NoSQL DBs to develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications

  • Leadership skills and knowledge of DevOps, GIT and Code reviews and experience in deploying container based application(docker) on cloud infrastructure

  • Design client-side and server-side architecture and build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design

  • Write effective APIs and technical documentation, test software to ensure responsiveness ,efficiency and troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software

Nice to Have:

  • Master’s degree in Computer science or equivalent experience

  • Security frameworks: LDAP, Kerberos, OAuth 2.0, Vault integration

  • DevOps: Nexus, UCD

  • Comfortable applying engineering best practices for Test Driven Development, integration testing, version control, Continuous Integration
