Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Journeyperson Electrician for our client in NE Calgary, AB. We are looking for a skilled and safety-focused maintenance professional with strong experience in automation, electrical systems, and mechanical troubleshooting.

This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed electrician who enjoys working with automated equipment, solving complex technical issues, and contributing to the reliability and performance of a fast-paced operation.

  • Pay Rate: $38.00 - $43.00/hour (based on experience)

  • Location: NE Calgary, AB

  • Shift: Night Shift | Sunday to Thursday | 10:30 PM to 6:30 AM

  • Job type: Temporary to Permanent | Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair automated equipment and systems

  • Perform preventative maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and performance

  • Support machine installations, upgrades, and modifications

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues

  • Monitor equipment performance and implement solutions to minimize downtime

  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to resolve equipment and operational issues

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and system performance

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Journeyperson Electrician Certificate (or equivalent certification) required

  • Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience, ideally automation

  • Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills

  • Experience working with PLCs, motors, drives, conveyors, gearboxes, belts, and bearings

  • Ability to read and edit electrical and mechanical drawings

  • Experience with SSI automation systems is considered an asset

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Valid driver's licence required

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
