Adecco is currently hiring a full-time IT Data Analyst for our client, a leader in leveraging data and automation to drive operational efficiency across IT and OT systems in Calgary, AB

Responsibilities:
Data Collection & Management (ETL)
Gather and integrate data from multiple internal and external sources
Develop and maintain data pipelines and storage solutions
Ensure data integrity, quality, and consistency
Data Analysis & Modeling
Analyze large datasets using statistical and analytical techniques
Identify trends, patterns, and correlations to support decision-making
Build and maintain data models for forecasting and optimization
Reporting & Communication
Develop dashboards, visualizations, and automated reports (Power BI)
Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
Partner with stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities to optimize processes through automation
Troubleshoot issues and enhance system performance
Adopt and implement new technologies to solve business challenges
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
5+ years of experience in a data analytics or similar role
Strong proficiency in SQL and Python
Experience with Power BI and data modeling techniques
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
Strong collaboration and communication abilities
Experience with Databricks, MS SQL Server, or PI Data Historian
Knowledge of REST APIs and additional visualization tools
Understanding of oil & gas (upstream), SCADA, field data capture, or SAP systems
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
