SUMMARY

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization in south Mississauga, is seeking an Inventory & Demand Forecast Analyst to join its Global Inventory Optimization team in Mississauga in an ongoing contract role. Reporting to the Manager, Global Inventory Optimization, this role is responsible for supporting forecasting, inventory planning, integrated business planning (IBP), and analytics initiatives across the supply chain.

The successful candidate will provide critical reporting and analysis to improve forecast accuracy, identify inventory risks, support production planning activities, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This position works closely with Supply Chain, Forecasting, Production Planning, Sales, and IT teams to support business objectives and optimize inventory performance.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain, or a related field

• 5+ years of experience in analytics, forecasting, inventory planning, or supply chain reporting

• Strong SAP experience, including inventory and production processes

• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills

• Demonstrated, high-level analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities

• Strong understanding of manufacturing, inventory management, and supply planning concepts

• Experience with forecasting and demand planning tools is an asset

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Produce and maintain reporting used to track forecast performance and inventory trends

• Maintain inventory projection files based on forecasts, demand requirements, and customer orders

• Provide inventory estimates and analysis to support production planning

• Prepare reports identifying forecast improvement opportunities

• Support forecasting, demand planning, and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) activities

• Maintain planning and opportunity analysis files used for inventory decision-making

• Update Bills of Materials to support supply and demand balancing requirements

• Perform forecasting adjustments using analytical data and business insights

• Analyze and report forecast accuracy and demand variability metrics

• Partner with Supply Chain, Sales, IT, and Operations teams to improve processes and resolve business issues

• Support continuous improvement initiatives and special projects
