Be the First Line of Support for Home’s IT Operations
As an Intermediate IT Operations Analyst, you will monitor and control designated programs, ensuring they run in line with established standards and address any deviations promptly. You’ll provide hardware and software support across all Home’s Dealer Support Centres to minimize business risk and disruption. Led by the Manager, Enterprise Computing, this role suits a technically skilled professional who thrives in a fast-paced, service-focused environment.
 
Please note: This is a 6-month term position that follows a rotational 12-hour day shift schedule (7am – 7pm, including weekends), with training initially taking place on night shift.
 
Ready to make an impact in a new role? Here’s how: 
  • Operate and monitor production jobs, acting on deviations from standards and remediating or escalating business-critical incidents.
  • Manage backup routines, storage records, and backup media.
  • Maintain and verify print handling software through programming and process checks.
  • Develop and update procedural documentation for departmental tasks.
  • Provide first-level hardware and software support across all Home’s Dealer Support Centres.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for business-critical systems.
  • Test and implement operational updates for new hardware, software, and processes to ensure service levels are maintained.
We’re looking for:
  • Diploma in Information Technology or related field.  
  • A minimum of three years of proven experience in an IT operations or technical support position.
  • Excellent PC literacy, including Windows OS and MS Office proficiency.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Experience in using incident and change management processes/systems is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of a team.
  • The ability to work onsite for 12-hour rotational shifts (including weekdays and weekends) at our corporate office in St. Jacobs.
