SUMMARY

Our client, a well-established distributor serving the industrial manufacturing sector, is seeking an Inside Customer Service Representative to join their team in Brampton, Ontario. This full-time, permanent opportunity is ideal for a customer-focused professional who enjoys building strong client relationships, supporting sales activities, and providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. This position offers a Monday to Friday schedule (8:00 AM to 4:30 PM), three weeks of vacation, a comprehensive benefits package, and matched retirement savings.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous customer service experience in an industrial, manufacturing, distribution, or related environment preferred

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Knowledge of industrial products or tooling is considered an asset

  • Strong computer proficiency and ability to learn new systems

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process and enter incoming customer sales orders accurately and efficiently

  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide timely support by phone and email

  • Deliver a high level of customer service while maintaining strong customer relationships

  • Source products to meet customer requirements and requests

  • Act as the primary liaison for special tooling requests

  • Prepare and provide customer quotations

  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate product solutions

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers

  • Communicate effectively with team members and site management

  • Support overall customer service and sales objectives as required
