SUMMARY - Industrial Mechanic

Our client is a leading manufacturer in the liquid filling sector, recognized for innovation and high-growth trajectory. They specialize in producing and co-packing a wide range of liquid food and beverage products. This is an excellent opportunity for an Industrial Mechanic to join a dynamic organization that values teamwork, continuous improvement, and professional development in the Etobicoke area. QUALIFICATIONS - Industrial Mechanic

  • 3+ years maintenance experience in beverage or liquid filling manufacturing

  • Maintenance experience with highly automated liquid filling and packaging equipment

  • Electromechanical competency is an asset (sensors, drives, HMI, etc.)

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred

  • Excellent understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic circuits

  • Good communication skills together with basic computer literacy

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Open to a two week rotating continental shift (7-7)

RESPONSIBILITIES - Industrial Mechanic

  • Perform routine checks on equipment to identify repair needs

  • Repair and troubleshoot equipment and associated hardware with minimal supervision

  • Service machines including: liquid filling, conveyors, palletizers, wrappers, de-palletizers, and labelers

  • Maintain and repair PLC, electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical machinery

  • Work to support operators during equipment malfunctions and collaborate to resolve issues

  • Participate in team development through training and collaboration

  • Ensure compliance with Integrated Management Systems (Production, Quality, Food Safety & GMP)

  • Adhere to all health, safety, environmental, and legal regulations
