Adecco is currently hiring a full-time experienced Industrial Maintenance Millwright (Red Seal) to join a leading manufacturing organization in Scarborough.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled trades professional who enjoys troubleshooting complex equipment, driving continuous improvement, and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You'll play a critical role in maintaining equipment reliability, improving operational performance, and supporting production excellence.

The successful candidate will initially work a day shift, with the potential to transition to a continental shift schedule, including weekends, based on business needs.

  • Pay Rate: $53.00 – $64.00 per hour

  • Location: Scarborough, ON

  • Job type: Permanent | Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing and production equipment

  • Troubleshoot and repair:

    • Mechanical systems

    • Hydraulic systems

    • Pneumatic systems

    • Conveyors and material handling equipment

  • Lead and support Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives to improve equipment performance and operator capabilities

  • Participate in daily 5S activities to maintain an organized and efficient workplace

  • Actively contribute to Daily Management System (DMS) meetings and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve equipment reliability

  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve equipment and safety concerns

  • Support breakdown response and emergency maintenance activities as required

  • Complete all maintenance tasks safely and in accordance with company procedures and standards

  • Contribute to a culture focused on safety, operational excellence, and continuous improvement

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Interprovincial Red Seal Millwright Certification (Required)

  • Experience maintaining industrial manufacturing equipment such as:

    • Conveyors

    • Pumps

    • Compressors

    • Motors

    • Gearboxes

    • Hydraulic and pneumatic systems

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

  • Commitment to workplace safety and safe work practices

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment

  • Basic computer skills

  • Experience with SAP is considered an asset

  • Previous experience with TPM, 5S, Lean Manufacturing, or continuous manufacturing environments is preferred

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
