SEASONAL: PART TIME, 24 hours up a maximum of 39.5 hours per week
Hourly Wage Rate:
$23.26 per hour

Monday to Thursday: 10:00 am - 3:30 pm
Friday: 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
Monday to Thursday: 11:00AM - 4:30PM
Friday: 11:00AM - 3:00PM
Monday to Thursday: 4:00PM - 9:30PM
Friday: 4:30PM-8:30PM
Monday to Thursday: 4:30PM - 10:00PM
Friday: 5:00PM - 9:00PM
Note: This schedule is subject to change. Incumbent will be required to work nights and weekends.
Job Description Summary
- As a Hospitality Associate you will be representing McMaster University Hospitality Services. You must follow all guidelines on the Hospitality employee quick fact sheet.
- Experience working fast paced food stations an asset.
- Must be able to work in a very busy environment keeping up with customer demands with a focus on maintaining Chat Time customer transaction times.
- Communicate with customers and co-workers effectively, greet customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Maintain accurate temperature, cleaning and sanitizing logs.
- Required to successfully complete all Chat Time training.
- Must always maintain all Chat Time recipes, standards and protocols.
- Must be able to operate a POS station completing Moneris and student card transactions. A POS operations test may be required.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of shelves, work areas, floors, walls, counters and all equipment.
- Must be able to occasionally lift to up 50lbs.
- Must be able to work well as a team member and independently.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
Education & Experience
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced food production area.
- Must have good communication, reading, writing and English skills.
