Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Health & Safety Coordinator to support site safety programs and promote a strong safety culture in a dynamic industrial environment for our client in Scarborough, ON. This role is ideal for a proactive professional with hands-on experience in safety compliance, audits, and training.

  • Pay Rate: $60,000 - $80,000/year (based on experience)

  • Location: Scarborough, ON

  • Job type: Permanent | Full-time

  • Vacancy Status: This posting is for an existing vacancy.

Responsibilities:

  • Promote a safety-first culture across employees, subcontractors, and stakeholders

  • Conduct site inspections, audits, and hazard assessments

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, COR standards, and safety regulations

  • Support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions

  • Deliver safety training and coaching to employees and subcontractors

  • Assist with JHSC meetings, reporting, and documentation

  • Monitor contractor compliance and maintain safety records

  • Support return-to-work programs and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Post-secondary education in Health & Safety or related field

  • 3+ years of experience in a Health & Safety role (construction/industrial preferred)

  • Strong knowledge of OHSA, WHMIS, and safety legislation

  • Experience with COR audits and safety programs

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to sites

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
