Overview

Frito Lay has an opening for a traffic unloader.

Compensation: $22.57/hr


Responsibilities

  • Manually unloading route trucks with cartons/pallets of product 
  • Unloading returned cartons/materials from route truck 
  • Stacking and organizing product from trucks 
  • Maintaining proper housekeeping standards in work areas 
  • Perform all job functions in the warehouse areas at established standard efficiency levels. 
  • Fill any downtime with light facility maintenance, cleaning, audit compliance, and other tasks as needed. 
  • Adjusting schedule to various delivery times 

 

Shifts: 4-6 hrs, Sunday - Friday


Qualifications

  • Experience and knowledge working within a warehouse environment. 
  • Preference to candidates with Grade 12 education 
  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. 
  • Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule. 
  • Ability to work independently with little or no supervision. 

Physical demands and working conditions:  

  • Must be able to lift/carry 45-60 lbs. constantly for 8-12 hours a day. 
  • Must be able to push/pull up to 80 lbs. frequently. 
  • Must be able to perform constant standing, walking, bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, and grasping. 
  • Completing Safety, Quality/Food Safety training and adhering to the Safety and Food Safety policies that is required for your area.
