Overview

The Strategic Planning team within Corporate FP&A provides rigorous financial analyses and objective insights to support PepsiCo’s strategic growth priorities and financial decision making. This team partners closely with the Global Planning SVP, the CFO, members of the PEC (including the CEO), and planning and transformation teams across the business and global functions. The role offers a unique opportunity to gain a holistic perspective of Finance and build a strong global network across the company. As part of the Corporate FP&A organization, you will have a front row seat to decision making at the highest levels of the company. You will:

  • Play a key role in enterprise wide financial planning and performance management

Responsibilities

As a Strategic Planning Manager, you will:

  • Prepare periodic and quarterly performance update materials for town halls, the PEC, and the Board, with a focus on performance drivers and insights from monthly Region business reviews
  • Support the Enterprise Strategic Planning process, including financial modeling and scenario analyses
  • Lead competitive analyses to evaluate quarterly business performance across peers and conduct macroeconomic analyses to contextualize our operating environment
  • Lead FP&A Share of Market (SoM) insight generation and analysis; oversee Cockpit SoM dashboards to ensure accuracy and robustness
  • Support Compensation Committee related financial items for the Board in collaboration with the Total Rewards team, including peer reviews and annual bonus calculations

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $110,700 - $185,250.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 12% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required (Finance or Accounting preferred)
  • MBA or CPA is a plus- not required
  • 7+ years of practical work experience with a strategic/business development/financial background
  • Prior experience in finance, planning, M&A or Strategy roles with a strong understanding of P&L
  • Strong financial modeling and/or analytical capabilities

  • Passion to learn and interest in the diversity of our operating businesses encompassing multiple regions and categories
  • Attention to detail and intellectual curiosity
  • Comfort with ambiguity and working in a fast-paced environment
