Adecco is currently hiring a Fleet & Facilities Manager for a full-time opportunity in Embrun, ON (Ottawa Region). This role is ideal for an experienced fleet professional with strong leadership skills, hands-on maintenance knowledge, and a passion for optimizing fleet operations, vehicle lifecycle management, and maintenance performance across multiple transportation service lines.

In this position, you will oversee fleet procurement, maintenance operations, vendor management, budgeting, and garage operations while leading a team of licensed mechanics and support staff. This role requires a highly organized and proactive leader who can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced transportation environment.

  • Salary: $80,000 – $100,000 annually

  • Location: Embrun, ON (Ottawa Region)

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday

  • Employment Type: Full-time | Permanent

Responsibilities

  • Assess fleet vehicles for replacement and lifecycle optimization

  • Negotiate pricing and service agreements with vendors, manufacturers, and suppliers

  • Conduct vendor visits, evaluations, and performance reviews

  • Establish and maintain fleet service standards, policies, and best practices

  • Ensure maintenance of company vehicles is completed according to established standards and safety regulations

  • Review and update maintenance schedules annually

  • Coordinate vehicle repairs, outsourced maintenance, and external garage work

  • Manage insurance-related vehicle repairs and warranty claims

  • Oversee fleet garage operations and maintenance facilities

  • Monitor inventory levels and manage fleet-related purchasing activities

  • Collect, analyze, and present fleet performance KPIs to leadership

  • Manage Fleet Services budgets, cost centres, and operational expenses

  • Lead and support a team of licensed mechanics and administrative staff

  • Promote a safe, efficient, and collaborative work environment

Qualifications

  • Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada

  • 310T, 310S, or combined 310T/310S license is required

  • College or University education in a related field or equivalent experience

  • 5–7 years of experience in a similar fleet or asset management role

  • Previous management or leadership experience within fleet maintenance operations

  • Strong understanding of fleet maintenance processes and vehicle lifecycle management

  • Knowledge of the Occupational Health & Safety Act and National Safety Code

  • Experience with purchasing processes, vendor management, and inventory control

  • ODP certification with A/C experience, or willingness to obtain certification

  • Experience with diesel and gasoline vehicle repair environments

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and team leadership abilities

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

  • Valid Ontario G Class driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract

  • Clean criminal record check required
