Overview

The Financial Reporting Manager – Intercompany and Cash Flow is responsible for the accurate and timely management of intercompany accounting and cash flow plan, forecasting and analysis for PepsiCo Canada. The Manager will work closely with cross‑functional teams including Finance, Corporate and Supply Chain to ensure the completeness and accuracy of intercompany transactions, cash flow, and related financial reporting. Additionally, this role will drive continuous improvements in systems and processes, and support period end close activities.

Total Compensation: $97,200 - $184,400


Responsibilities

  • Provide effective leadership, coaching, and development for two direct reports, including setting performance expectations and supporting career growth, while cultivating a positive and growth focused team culture
  • Lead the company’s trade and non-trade intercompany accounting processes, ensuring accurate recording, reporting, and settlement of balances
  • Review and approve intercompany journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to identify material adjustments to Corporate provided cash flow plan and forecast
  • Partner with cross functional teams to analyze cash flow variances and present results to senior leaders
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams when setting up new intercompany relationships and monitor system configuration of existing relationships
  • Continuous improvement mindset to identify and implement process improvements and systems enhancements
  • Complete ad hoc analysis and projects based on evolving business priorities

Qualifications

  • CPA designation is required
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Demonstrated success managing direct reports, including coaching, performance management, and career development
  • Experience in a Big Four Accounting Firm and/or Financial Reporting within the Consumer-Packaged Goods industry is required
  • A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in Audit and/or Industry Financial Reporting roles
  • Demonstrated experience preparing and analyzing Cash Flow statements
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Knowledge of SAP or similar large-scale ERP systems is preferred
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge, including expertise in intercompany accounting and cash flow reporting
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to partner effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Proven ability to collaborate and build relationships across cross functional groups
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., complex formulas, modeling, data analysis)
  • Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment and drive continuous improvement
  • Experience in implementing process and system enhancements to improve accuracy and eliminate non-value-added work
