Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Finance Business Partner to join our client’s financial team in Scarborough, ON. In this role you will provide holistic financial leadership to deliver sustainable net sales and profit growth. This role requires strong business partnership with key wholesale customer teams and the ability to influence decision-making through reporting, analytics, and insights. You will ensure accuracy and clarity of key business drivers, drive accountability, and lead discussions on process improvements in a dynamic, evolving industry.

  • Pay Rate: $70k - $80k/annually (based on experience)

  • Location: Scarborough, ON

  • Job type: Permanent | Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the monthly financial close for your area of responsibility, ensuring accurate and timely recognition of results.

  • Provide meaningful analysis and commentary on monthly results, keeping apprised of business drivers and challenges.

  • Partner with business leaders to challenge variances and ensure corrective actions are taken to achieve annual plans.

  • Assess the impact of monthly results on future forecasts and recommend actions.

  • Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with strategic guidelines.

  • Monitor, forecast, and challenge spending to ensure budget compliance.

  • Develop and maintain Risk and Opportunities analysis leveraging Integrated Business Planning processes.

  • Act as a co-pilot to Sales leaders, providing guidance on effective P&L management and ROI-driven decision-making.

  • Deliver monthly reports and insights to support sales strategies and profitability.

  • Participate in cross-functional projects as the finance lead, providing benchmarking, opportunity identification, and performance tracking.

  • Provide ad hoc analysis and commentary for senior leadership as needed.

  • Serve as the primary finance contact for assigned customers, collaborating with sales and commercial teams on strategies.

  • Provide decision support for pricing, trade spend, promotional investments, innovation P&Ls, and customer negotiations.

  • Manage trade and customer investment to maximize ROI for the sales division.

  • Ensure compliance with SOX, U.S. GAAP, and company policies.

  • Educate non-finance partners on key financial metrics to enhance performance.

  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to standardize and optimize processes.

Qualifications:

  • University Degree (preference for CPA, MBA, Degree in Finance/ Commerce/ Accounting)

  • 6–8 years of progressive finance experience (CPG industry experience preferred).

  • Proven success in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.

  • Advanced expertise in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

  • Experience with financial forecasting tools and modeling.

  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

  • Ability to adapt quickly and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
