Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Filling Machine Operator for our client. Our client is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented production professional with experience operating manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and monitor filling equipment across multiple production lines
Monitor machine gauges and controls to ensure products meet specifications and quality standards
Respond to machine alarms and coordinate with maintenance technicians as needed
Perform package integrity and seal-quality testing at required intervals
Ensure adequate supplies and materials are available to support continuous production
Monitor product and packaging quality throughout the production process
Perform routine cleaning and sanitation activities, including scheduled CIP procedures
Work closely with maintenance teams to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues
Complete production documentation, quality control records, cleaning checklists, and downtime reports accurately
Review production performance and report variances or operational concerns to supervisors
Follow all health and safety, food safety, environmental, and company policies and procedures
Support additional production activities as required
Qualifications and Skills:
Grade 12 diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
1 to 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
Previous machine operator experience is considered an asset
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills
Experience working in food manufacturing environments is considered an asset
Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), HACCP, and food safety programs
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 30 lbs and climbing stairs
Available to work extended hours and weekend overtime as required
Willingness to transition from day shift to rotating shifts as business needs evolve
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
