Adecco is currently hiring a full-time experienced ETRM Delivery Lead / Program Manager to oversee the successful delivery of Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) solutions for a large, complex organization located in Calgary, AB. This is a senior‑level role suited for a strategic leader who excels at bridging business objectives with technology execution while driving large‑scale digital programs to success.

  • Location: Calgary, AB (in office)

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday | 8hrs/day

  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time | 12-month contract

Responsibilities:

Delivery Ownership

  • Take end‑to‑end ownership for the delivery of ETRM and related digital solutions, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives are met.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead collaboration between D&IT teams, systems integrators, and senior business leaders, fostering strong partnerships and seamless execution.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders across the ETRM organization.

Strategic Roadmap & Planning

  • Shape and maintain the ETRM delivery roadmap, aligning initiatives with broader enterprise and D&IT technical strategies.

  • Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate delivery risks and interdependencies.

D&IT Coordination & Accountability

  • Act as the single point of accountability for all D&IT‑related ETRM activities.

  • Coordinate multiple technical teams, drive execution urgency, and remove barriers to delivery.

Business & Technical Alignment

  • Translate ETRM business objectives into clear, actionable technology work packages.

  • Ensure solutions are scalable, sustainable, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.

Innovation & R&D Partnership

  • Establish a fast‑paced R&D and innovation partnership between ETRM and D&IT, encouraging experimentation and continuous improvement.

Demand & Resource Prioritization

  • Balance competing initiatives across ETRM and enterprise D&IT portfolios, ensuring optimal resource allocation aligned to business priorities.

Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Track program KPIs, milestones, and benefits realization.

  • Provide transparent, executive‑level reporting using data‑driven insights to guide decision‑making.

Qualifications:

  • Post‑secondary education in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 12+ years of experience in IT and/or ETRM business environments.

  • Extensive leadership experience delivering ETRM programs and enterprise‑scale initiatives.

  • Strong understanding of enterprise systems, digital platforms, and IT infrastructure.

  • Hands‑on experience with ETRM platforms such as RightAngle and/or Allegro.

  • Experience with cloud technologies, data governance, and digital modernization initiatives.

  • Proven delivery experience using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

  • PMP certification (asset); Agile (Scrum) or ITIL certifications highly advantageous.

  • Proven ability to perform in fast‑paced, high‑stakes environments with competing priorities.

  • Exceptional communicator able to translate complex concepts for both technical and non‑technical audiences.

  • Strong capability to develop, adjust, and execute long‑term digital delivery strategies.

  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and driving progress through creative, collaborative solutions.

  • Expert at aligning business strategy with technical execution.

  • Demonstrated experience managing systems integrators and vendors for scope, cost, and performance.

  • Skilled in leading organizational change within large digital transformation programs.

  • Relentless focus on measurable outcomes, value delivery, and financial discipline.

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
