About Trail Operations

Teck’s Trail Operations, located in the community of Trail in British Columbia, is one of the world’s largest fully integrated zinc and lead smelting and refining complexes. Located in the beautiful West Kootenay region of southeastern, British Columbia, Trail offers outdoor adventure at your fingertips. 

 

Role Overview

Teck is looking for an experienced Electrician Journeyperson to join our team at our Trail Operations, one of the world's largest fully integrated zinc and lead smelting and refining complexes.

Please note this role does require the successful candidate to live within 100KM of Trail. British, Columbia. Relocation assistance may be offered however there is no camp or company housing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
  • Maintenance and troubleshooting on industrial electrical systems
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Inter-Provincial Red Seal Endorsement (Electrician)
  • Preference given to those with related industrial maintenance experience and knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems
  • Must have professional, diligent approach; be comfortable working independently and with a team; and be able to demonstrate the ability to complete tasks in a timely manner, with great attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Valid class 5 driver’s license

Pay Range: $52.478 per hour

The actual amount offered is determined based on the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
