Open to recent graduates in the electrical field! Adecco is currently hiring several temporary full-time Electrical Assemblers, for a trusted manufacturer and distributer of industry leading products in Scarborough, ON. 

In this role you will be responsible for assembling and wiring electrical sub-assemblies, and read and interpret drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, and work orders. Do you have a strong hand soldering skills?

If you have a passion for electronics, an eye for detail, strong hand soldering skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, we would love to hear from you!

  • Pay rate: $18 - $20 per hour - depending on experience

  • Location: Scarborough, ON

  • Shifts: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am - 4:00 pm, Friday is 7:00 am -1:00 pm

  • Job type: Temporary | full-time | long-term assignment - possibly leading to permanent role

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and wire electrical sub-assemblies

  • Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders

  • Pack finished products for shipment

  • Fabricate or modify parts, using shop equipment

  • Responsible for meeting deadlines

  • Clean, maintain and organize work and desk area

  • Maintain stock/inventory levels

  • Troubleshoot electrical assemblies

  • Perform related duties as needed by supervision

  • Assembling and soldering electronic components

Requirements: 

  • Regularly required to stand for long periods of time

  • Regularly required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

  • Regularly required to use hand tools, air tools, electrical tools

  • Must have strong hand soldering skills and experience 

Qualifications:

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada

  • High School Diploma or related experience

  • Minimum 2-year Assembly, Machine Operator and/or Manufacturing Experience

  • Ability to understand and follow instructions

  • Attention to detail

  • Maintain a clean & safe environment

  • Ability to read and understand electrical drawings, schematics and technical data sheets
