Adecco, behalf of our client, is currently hiring a full-time for an experienced Director of Business Operations to oversee end‑to‑end supply chain operations across multiple divisions. This role is responsible for global procurement, replenishment, sourcing strategies, product lifecycle management, and warehouse performance optimization. The ideal candidate is a highly strategic and analytical supply chain leader with extensive experience in comparable CPG environments.
Pay Rate: $130,000 - $150,000/year (based on experience)

Responsibilities:
Supply Chain Management
Oversee procurement for 6,000+ SKUs across three divisions, sourced globally.
Lead overseas strategies for product design, production planning, volume negotiation, pricing, and vendor relationship management.
Evaluate global manufacturing capabilities and international shipping functions.
Partner closely with senior sales leaders to support bulk purchasing decisions and hold sales accountable to accurate forecasting.
Collaborate with Finance on duty drawbacks, tariffs, and major product expenditures, through direct and delegated responsibilities.
Replenishment
Lead replenishment planning to ensure mandated fill rates and inventory availability.
Work with the SCM Manager to build a Demand Planning function and leverage analytics for cost, inventory, and pricing efficiencies.
Transition replenishment models from Excel‑based methods to more advanced analytical tools.
Sourcing
Oversee the SCM Manager responsible for sourcing strategies and global supplier evaluation.
Identify opportunities, efficiencies, and risks when selecting suppliers for both custom and off‑the‑shelf products.
Product Management
Analyze category profitability, product turns, and gaps within the portfolio.
Identify slow‑moving inventory and execute reduction strategies in collaboration with Sales.
Recommend product additions, changes, or discontinuations to improve category performance.
Warehousing & Logistics
Improve warehouse picking, packing, and shipping performance through system and process enhancements across Canadian and U.S. 3PL sites.
Integrate and optimize drop‑shipping services when launched.
Oversee inbound and outbound transportation (truck, rail, container), using analytics for cost and service viability.
Qualifications:
Post secondary education in supply chain or finance. MBA preferred to bring methodologies and analytics to role with high level of business acumen
15+ years of progressive supply chain and operational experience in comparable CPG industries (no fashion, textiles or industries that are not comparable)
Preference for foodservice or related manufacturing or small parts/products industries
Strong leader and mentor of front-line leaders to increase leadership capability
Strong business acumen to understand all parts of a business for risks/opportunities
Strong process management approaches to incrementally optimize operations
Strong partner and business acumen to 3 senior sales leaders (Sr. Director and 2 VPs)
Strong financial acumen to manage a significant budget including forecasting and planning working in partnership with the Director of Finance
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
