Adecco is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Loyalty Associate to join our client’s team in Halifax, NS. This is a temporary role with a competitive salary of $17 per hour. If you have a passion for customer service and are eager to help clients resolve their queries, we want to hear from you!

  • Pay rate: $17/hour.

  • Location: Halifax, NS

  • Shifts: Monday-Friday 10:00am-7:00pm

  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Resolving client queries and requests through various electronic and telecommunications channels, including email, internet banking systems, facsimile, and telephone.

  • Identifying customers’ needs, clarifying information, researching issues, and providing solutions and alternatives.

  • Escalating issues to the appropriate specialist or department as necessary.

  • Following communication scripts for handling different topics.

  • Reviewing daily system-generated reports and proactively contacting clients to resolve a range of issues.

  • Approving or declining cheques or debits to overdrawn accounts per the client’s policies and procedures.

  • Staying current on all bank products and services, including rates and fees.

Requirements:

  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.

  • Post-secondary education combined with at least two years of customer service experience.

  • Previous experience in a customer support role.

  • Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening abilities.

  • A customer-focused mindset and adaptability to various personality types.

  • The ability to multi-task, set priorities, and manage time effectively.

  • Familiarity with customer service practices and conflict resolution techniques.
