What you'll do:
Ensuring the accuracy of all data on Driver trip sheets, including hours, miles, pay adjustments and deductions prior to submission for payroll processing
Verifying and accurately entering statutory holidays, vacations, sick days, bereavement, leave of absence and other employee absences in Kronos and/or Workday
Onboarding and offboarding of colleagues in corporate HRIS/payroll systems
Calculating various pay adjustments such as statutory holiday time worked, wage premiums and bonuses
Ensuring that payroll corrections or adjustments are properly documented, approved and entered
Auditing of SOPs, identification of root cause and corrective actions to ensure accurate pay to colleagues
Configuring, testing, and validation of pay rules in payroll systems
Conduct final review of pay statements prior to distribution
Producing ad hoc reports for Senior Management as required
Other administrative, clerical, and auditing activities as required
What you bring:
General knowledge of Employment Standards and Labour Law
Computer applications using MS Office, including advanced Excel applications
Strong analytical and mathematical skills
Solid verbal and written communication skills
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels is a must
