In this role, you will :

  • Review all incoming referrals for completeness and contact referring health professionals if additional information is required.
  • Ensure all equipment delivery and installation requests are scheduled within contracted time frames and that high-priority clients receive prompt service.
  • Work closely with program technicians to ensure accurate and efficient service to clients and coordinate repair services.
  • Act as a liaison between clients, family members, and health care professionals regarding equipment availability, service provision, and return of loaned equipment.
  • Respond to inquiries from clients, health care professionals, and the public regarding program eligibility and refer to other agencies as appropriate.
  • Accurately enter all equipment and client data information into a database.
  • Adhere to program policies and contract provisions, maintain program standards and quality control mechanisms.                                       


What we are looking for :

  • 2 years of post-secondary education in health services or a related field and two years of customer service experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.
  • Ability to effectively problem solve, prioritize, organize and execute tasks in a dynamic environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills including diplomacy, empathy, and the ability to manage difficult situations.
  • First Aid certification, or willingness to take training.
  • Experience working with volunteers or knowledge of medical equipment would be an asset.  
  • Fluency in English is required                                                   


Working Conditions :

  • Majority of the work performed in an office environment.
