We are currently looking for individuals who are passionate about using their technical accounting, financial reporting and project management skills in a fast-paced cross functional environment to conquer a wide spectrum of accounting and financial reporting challenges for our clients. 

As an Experienced Consultant at KPMG you will play a crucial role in supporting key financial functions and decision-making processes. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual with a strong analytical mindset and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.

• Conduct comprehensive financial statement reviews for various private companies
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and customized management reporting packages, including budget and operational analysis, forecasts, EBITDA and operating cashflow
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and interpret financial data.
• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Assist in the development of financial models for business planning and forecasting.
• Create ad-hoc financial analyses and reports as required.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards (GAAP)

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; enrollment in CPA program preferred
• 1+ years experience in an accounting consulting environment 
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis
• Excellent knowledge of financial statements, accounting principles, and financial metrics
• Preference for experience in ERP systems and Cloud based accounting software like QBO and CaseWare
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and presentation skills

KPMG Ontario Pay Range Information

The expected base salary range for this position is $58,000 - $70,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills, & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.
