In this role you will be responsible to serve customers and manage cash registers to prepare and serve food and beverages to customers. This role requires appropriate food handling certificate. Previous experience would be ideal. 

  • Pay rate: $19.00/hour

  • Location: Toronto, ON

  • Shifts: 2 hours prior to the beginning of the show until the second part of the last

  • show. Hours will vary | 5 days a week (subject to change according to the show schedule)

  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time

  • Vacancy Status: This posting is for an existing vacancy.

Responsibilities:

  • Works in assigned concession area

  • Serves customers and manages cash registers

  • Prepares and serves food & beverages to customers, as required

  • Services customers and answers their questions accurately and politely

  • Ensures the concession area remains clean, stocked, and orderly

  • Facilitates closing inventory and cleaning duties

  • Keeps the working environment clean and sweep after the show begins

  • Performs other duties as required after each selling period.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of ServeSafe and/or food safety certificates is a strong asset.

  • Possess the ability to learn a point-of-sale system and retain the information

  • Be comfortable working in a loud environment

  • Have a professional, clean appearance with a straight posture. Note: Employees are responsible for arriving in black shirts, pants and shoes (no logos)

  • Be physically able to stand up for long hours

  • Understand customer service and hospitality

  • Work well with others

  • Pay attention to the details

  • Working fast and efficiently under pressure

  • Have a welcoming and friendly attitude (smile and proper greetings)

  • Know when to get the help of a supervisor

  • Availability for the whole city duration

  • Have accepted food handling certificate (asset)

  • Bilingual in French and English is an asset

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
