Overview

The Prime Mover reports directly to the Commercial Planning Lead and is based out of PepsiCo’s Head Office located in Mississauga. This role is responsible for leading and supporting Cornerstone (CS) Business Proposals (BP’s) by ensuring a smooth process from start to finish for a successful in market product launch. This role will work with a broader cross-functional team such as Marketing, Finance, Sales, Operations, R&D and Commercialization.

Total Compensation: $63,300 - $103,200


Responsibilities

  • Cornerstone Responsibilities
  • Product set up - create accurate BDC codes with relevant FLC Hierarchy
  • Product Master Data updates
  • Creating FLC Codes, GTIN’s, UPC’s and Pricing for assigned projects
  • Responsible to create and initiate the process for Brand Mark, Marketing Copy and Graphic Requisitions
  • Manage Graphic Requisitions process for Final Packaging and Corrugate from start to finish with key stake holders
  • Lead Collaboration Meetings to provide updates and actions for all projects
  • Attend biweekly Taskforce Meetings
  • Monitor timely execution of approvals at each stage to ensure all elements to reach packaging and prepress vendor
  • Responsible for running and distribution of Preliminary and Final Manufacturing Notification to the broader team
  • Ensure tasks are completed in Cornerstone on time and escalate any issues to avoid risk in products not being launched on time
  • Responsibilities expected to expand as the business rolls out PGT (PepsiCo Global Template)
  • Update and document all processes in terms of trainings, job aids, templates etc.
  • Provide leadership and support for projects, tasks and process improvements as business needs arise

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred
  • Individual must be self-starter, highly motivated, and possess ability to work independently and as part of a team environment
  • Understanding of the Frito Lay/Quaker or related industry commercialization process and role within the organization
  • Knowledge of common project management principles and tactics
  • Technical competency and understanding of supply chain systems an asset
  • Detail and results oriented with strong execution skills partnered with intellectual curiosity
  • Energized by continuous changes with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities on tight timelines
  • Solid knowledge of Excel, SAP, MDG and Cornerstone (Oracle OPLM) is an asset
