Adecco is currently hiring an Operations Manager for a full-time position in Calgary, AB. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced construction operations leader who excels in project delivery, team development, and driving operational excellence within a fast-paced environment.

As an Operations Manager, you will oversee project execution, support strategic planning, and ensure strong performance across safety, quality, financials, and client relationships. You will play a key leadership role in mentoring teams and supporting continuous improvement across construction operations.

  • Pay Rate: $170K-$190K

  • Location: Calgary, AB

  • Contract: Full-time | Permanent

  • Schedule: Monday - Friday

  • Vacancy Status: This posting is for an existing vacancy.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all project operations to ensure safe, timely, and on-budget project delivery

  • Drive operational excellence by implementing best practices and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Collaborate with leadership teams to align project priorities with capacity, scheduling, and profitability

  • Act as a key client and partner liaison, supporting issue resolution and long-term relationship building

  • Oversee project financials including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and margin performance

  • Mentor, coach, and develop project managers and coordinators to build high-performing teams

  • Promote and enforce a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards

  • Lead project turnover and close-out meetings to capture lessons learned and improve future performance

  • Support business development and estimating teams as needed to support strategic growth

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in commercial construction

  • Minimum 5 years in a leadership or management role

  • Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • PMP, GSC, or similar project/operations certification considered an asset

  • Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile certification is an asset

  • Strong understanding of construction operations, project delivery methods, and safety/quality standards

  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance management

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management tools (e.g., Procore)

  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Valid provincial driver’s licence required

  • Must be legally authorized to work and reside in Canada.
