Adecco is currently hiring a highly skilled CNC Machinist – Lathe Operator for a full-time, permanent opportunity with a leading manufacturing client in Nisku. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who excels in setup, programming, and precision machining, with the ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results.

  • Pay Rate: 45.00 – $55.00 per hour (based on experience)

  • Location: Nisku, AB

  • Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM + overtime opportunities

  • Job type: Permanent | Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Set up, program, and operate CNC lathe machines using Weiler / Siemens controls

  • Machine new components to tight tolerances (up to 0.002”)

  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately

  • Select tooling and configure machines based on job requirements

  • Perform in-process inspections using precision measurement tools

  • Machine and inspect taper threads (Reg, NC, FH)

  • Ensure work meets ISO 9001 quality standards and compliance requirements

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum 20 years of CNC machining experience (setup, programming, and operation)

  • MUST HAVE EXPIRIENCE WITH NEW PARTS , TOLARANCE 0.002 "

  • Strong background in new part manufacturing (not just production runs)

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Experience with thread inspection tools and precision measurement equipment

  • Knowledge of Weiler programming is a strong asset

  • Excellent time management and communication skills

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
