A career as a Chief Business Intelligence Analyst on the Total Compensation team is much more than being a referral for processing and analyzing compensation data. With your expertise in business intelligence, you play a key role in understanding business needs, prioritizing initiatives and determining the most relevant and efficient solutions. You develop tools and approaches that speed up and facilitate access to compensation data, while supporting your team and decision-makers in making informed and strategic decisions.

Your job

  • Understand business needs related to compensation data by collaborating with stakeholders to define objectives, prioritize requests and propose the most effective and sustainable solutions.
  • Perform complex quantitative analyses on various components of total compensation to support strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Develop and update reports, dashboards and other automated solutions for processing, automating and sharing compensation data, in collaboration with the Human Experience and Performance (HEP) analytics team.
  • Ensure the quality, integrity and optimization of compensation data processes, in collaboration with the HEP analytics team.
  • Be a reference for Power BI and everything related to data for the Wellness, employee benefits and recognition team.
  • Easily bridge technical language and business language. Adapt your speech to your audience and be autonomous in making presentations related to the results of your analyses or projects.
  • Show leadership, proactivity and autonomy in managing projects and deliverables

Your team

Within the Human Experience and Performance sector, you are part of the Total Compensation team made up of approximately 45 colleagues and report to the Senior Manager – Data, Performance and Governance – Total Compensation. As part of a team that is passionate about compensation and its data, you influence decision-makers through the analyses, tools and solutions you develop in collaboration with various partners. Your focus be non-exclusive on data from the wellness, employee benefits and recognition team.

Prerequisites

  • Related bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 3 to 5 years of experience in data analysis, OR any other combination of education and experience deemed equivalent
  • Experience in or a strong interest in the field of compensation
  • Experience in Human Resources and with HRIS systems, considered an asset
  • Expertise in data modeling, visualization, and analysis
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to interpret complex data
  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI, Excel, and Power Query
  • Knowledge of SQL, Snowflake, and experience working in an AWS environment, considered an asset
  • Knowledge of Power Automate and Power Apps, considered an asset
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear insights and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders
