Adecco is currently hiring a Business Development Representative for a full-time, hybrid opportunity based in Stoney Creek, ON. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with strong experience in sales, client relationship management, and proposal development within technical or infrastructure-related industries.

As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building long-term client relationships, and driving revenue growth. You will play a key role in developing sales strategies, managing the pipeline, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions to clients.

  • Pay Rate: $90,000 – $100,000/year

  • Location: Stoney Creek, ON (Hybrid – 3 days in office)

  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

  • Contract: Permanent

  • Vacancy Status: This posting is for an existing vacancy.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with company growth objectives

  • Identify, research, and pursue new business opportunities within targeted markets and sectors

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and key stakeholders

  • Manage the full sales cycle including lead generation, qualification, proposal development, and closing

  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to prospective and existing clients

  • Collaborate with technical, marketing, and internal teams to develop customized proposals and solutions

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and sales activities within CRM systems

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to inform sales strategies

  • Negotiate contracts and agreements while ensuring alignment with business objectives

  • Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities

  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, pipeline activity, and revenue forecasts

Requirements

  • Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada

  • 5–10 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field (experience in infrastructure, environmental, engineering, or similar industries is an asset)

  • Post-secondary education in Business, Engineering, Environmental Studies, Planning, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience

  • Proven track record of generating leads, developing pipelines, and closing deals

  • Strong experience in proposal writing, contract negotiation, and client presentations

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and CRM systems

  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and driven to exceed targets

  • Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel occasionally within Ontario
