Adecco is currently hiring a Business Development Representative for a full-time, hybrid opportunity based in Stoney Creek, ON. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with strong experience in sales, client relationship management, and proposal development within technical or infrastructure-related industries.
As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building long-term client relationships, and driving revenue growth. You will play a key role in developing sales strategies, managing the pipeline, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions to clients.
Pay Rate: $90,000 – $100,000/year
Location: Stoney Creek, ON (Hybrid – 3 days in office)
Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Contract: Permanent

Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with company growth objectives
Identify, research, and pursue new business opportunities within targeted markets and sectors
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and key stakeholders
Manage the full sales cycle including lead generation, qualification, proposal development, and closing
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to prospective and existing clients
Collaborate with technical, marketing, and internal teams to develop customized proposals and solutions
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and sales activities within CRM systems
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to inform sales strategies
Negotiate contracts and agreements while ensuring alignment with business objectives
Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities
Prepare regular reports on sales performance, pipeline activity, and revenue forecasts
Requirements
Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada
5–10 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field (experience in infrastructure, environmental, engineering, or similar industries is an asset)
Post-secondary education in Business, Engineering, Environmental Studies, Planning, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
Proven track record of generating leads, developing pipelines, and closing deals
Strong experience in proposal writing, contract negotiation, and client presentations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and CRM systems
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and driven to exceed targets
Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel occasionally within Ontario
