Adecco is currently hiring a full-time highly skilled, innovative, and quality‑driven Avionics Manufacturing Engineer to join our client’s growing team. For this role you should be adaptable, detail‑oriented, and thrives in a fast‑paced production environment. In this role you will support production through engineering analysis, process development, tooling design, and continuous improvement. This role ensures our aerospace components meet customer specifications, regulatory requirements, and company quality standards.

  • Pay Rate: $36.00/hour

  • Location: Delta, BC

  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time | 3-month contract, possibility of becoming permanent

Responsibilities:

Engineering & Technical Support

  • Review customer engineering packages and specifications; provide impact assessments, implementation costs, and maintain configuration control.

  • Compile and update Bills of Material (BOMs) for assigned products.

  • Create, update, and maintain manufacturing instructions for internal production.

  • Prepare First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) in accordance with AS9102.

  • Conduct supplier planning reviews and act as a technical liaison with suppliers.

Tooling & Design

  • Design simple jigs, fixtures, and tooling components.

  • Develop tooling fabrication plans to support production efficiency.

Production & Process Support

  • Provide engineering support to the shop floor, suppliers, and customers.

  • Develop and update training materials for production processes.

  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions for production defects.

  • Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives to achieve zero‑defect performance.

Qualifications:

  • ·         Diploma or degree in Aerospace Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

  • ·         Ability to obtain security clearance for export‑controlled programs (CGD, ITAR).

  • ·         Proficient with MS Word and Excel.

  • ·         Skilled in 3D modeling software (SolidWorks or CATIA preferred).

  • ·         Ability to interpret and work from engineering drawings.

  • ·         Knowledge of:

  • ·         AS9100 and Nadcap requirements

  • ·         Configuration management

  • ·         Lean manufacturing tools (5S, Kaizen, CI methodologies)

  • ·         Sheet metal processes

  • ·         NC programming / CNC machining

  • ·         GD&T principles

  • ·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • ·         Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

  • ·         Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.

  • ·         Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
