Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Agriculture Technician to support crop protection research programs on a local research farm in London, ON. This role collaborates with the Farm Manager and Field Biologists to execute field trials and ensure high-quality research results across multiple crop protection areas.

  • Pay Rate: $25.000/hour

  • Location: London, ON

  • Shift: Mondays to Fridays | 8am - 5pm

  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing crop protection research programs and field trials (herbicide, fungicide, insecticide, seed treatments, digital trials)

  • Support daily farm operations, including equipment, inventory, and research plots

  • Coordinate resources such as machinery, GPS tools, irrigation, and cooperating farmers

  • Ensure accurate data collection and high-quality research outcomes

  • Support training and development of seasonal research staff

  • Promote and maintain a strong safety culture

  • Contribute to achieving research and market development targets

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Diploma or B.Sc. in Agriculture, Biology, Agronomy, Plant Science, or related field (preferred)

  • Minimum 1 year of field research or agricultural experience

  • Experience with field research equipment, GPS tools, irrigation systems, and farm machinery

  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy

  • Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
