Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Accounts Payable Associate to join our client’s finance team in Saint John, NB. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong accounting foundation who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will support daily accounts payable operations, including invoice processing and data validation, while contributing to shared services improvement initiatives.
Pay Rate: $21.00 - $23.00/hour (based on experience)
Location: Saint John, NB
Shift: Monday to Friday | 8:00am – 5:00pm

Responsibilities:
Perform accurate and timely data entry, validation, and processing of accounts payable invoices
Verify invoice details and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Resolve discrepancies and respond to vendor and internal inquiries professionally
Maintain organized and accurate accounts payable records
Participate in shared services projects and continuous process improvement initiatives
Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and support month-end activities
Deliver a high level of internal customer service
Qualifications and Skills:
Diploma with a concentration in Accounting or equivalent relevant experience
1–2+ years of accounts payable or related accounting experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong skills in MS Excel
Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
