Adecco is currently hiring a full-time reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our client’s manufacturing team in Scarborough, OLN. In this role, you will operate and monitor production equipment to ensure the consistent manufacturing of high-quality products in a fast-paced environment.
This role requires you to be safety-focused, able to work both independently and as part of a team, and capable of maintaining accuracy and efficiency in a dynamic workplace.
Pay Rate: $19.77 (+ 0.80 - 1.15 premium) based on shift
Location: Scarborough, ON
Shifts: Afternoons: 3:00pm – 11:00pm | Midnights 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM (starting Sunday at 11:00 PM)

Responsibilities:
Follow all health and safety policies and procedures and maintain a clean and safe work environment
Operate and monitor one or more semi-automatic or automatic processing units
Set up and adjust packaging and processing equipment as required
Monitor gauges, signals, scales, and product consistency (e.g., colour, viscosity)
Perform basic chemical or physical testing during production processes
Record data accurately on batch cards and follow quality control (QC) procedures
Perform basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance of equipment
Use scanning devices to complete accurate inventory transactions
Work efficiently to meet production targets and timelines
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership
Qualifications and Skills:
High School Diploma (Grade 12) or equivalent
Strong basic math skills (including volumetric and mass calculations)
Knowledge of WHMIS/GHS and spill clean-up procedures
Experience working with hazardous, flammable, or chemical materials (asset)
Familiarity with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Prior forklift experience is an asset
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to work overtime, evenings, or night shifts as required
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
