Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Energy & Sustainability Analyst to support decarbonization initiatives within a leading aerospace manufacturing environment. This role focuses on analyzing energy usage, identifying efficiencies, and supporting the implementation of low-carbon solutions to meet sustainability goals.

**As this role is subject to the Canadian Government's Controlled Goods Program (CGP) the qualifying applicants must possess Canadian Citizenship or permanent residency status. A work permit status is not eligible for this role.

  • Pay Rate: $55.00/hour

  • Location: Ajax, ON

  • Shift: Monday to Friday | 7:30am – 4:30pm

  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze energy and utilities data (electricity, gas, water, compressed air) to identify improvement opportunities

  • Identify and recommend initiatives to reduce carbon emissions and energy consumption

  • Support development and execution of energy efficiency and decarbonization projects

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability into operations

  • Monitor and report on energy and carbon performance metrics

  • Develop dashboards to track and benchmark energy usage

  • Conduct feasibility studies and prepare business cases for energy-saving projects

  • Support awareness and knowledge-sharing of low-carbon practices

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Post-secondary education in Engineering, Environmental Studies, Energy Management, or related field

  • Experience in energy management, sustainability, or carbon reduction (preferred)

  • Background in manufacturing or industrial environments (aerospace an asset)

  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills

  • Knowledge of energy efficiency and sustainability best practices

  • Familiarity with ISO 50001:2018 (asset)

  • Certified Energy Manager (or in progress) is an asset

  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

  • Data-driven decision-making

  • Problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset

  • Ability to influence stakeholders across teams

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
