About the Role:

Adecco is currently hiring a Division IT Manager for one of our premier clients, a global leader in motion and control technologies. Our client plays a pivotal role in applications that change our world—they are in almost everything that moves. With a wide range of technologies, including in the clean tech space, they help customers solve their most complex engineering challenges.

In this role, you will provide leadership and management for the Information Technology function at the Canada Division. You will work directly with division leadership to develop IT strategic plans to aid the business in meeting financial and operational commitments. This position is responsible for improving IT operational efficiencies, leading Lean initiatives, and implementing best practice standards and documentation across several key sites in Ontario and Manitoba.

Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with one of our client's division functional teams to understand needs and develop a roadmap for delivering enhanced capabilities and new technology.

  • Partner with group and corporate resources to implement best practice infrastructure, security processes, and technology.

  • Actively participate on the division leadership team overseeing operations and setting the strategic direction of the business.

  • Collaborate with global counterparts to align the IT organization with business strategies, annual budgets, and five-year plans.

  • Lead the team responsible for maintaining systems, meeting service level standards, and keeping software up to date via upgrades and patching.

  • Enhance systems to be SOX compliant, including managing disaster recovery plans and vulnerability remediation.

  • Recruit, develop, and maintain a high-performing divisional IT organization, leading talent development and succession planning.

  • Source, review, and select new technology, data science, and AI tools for the division.

  • Ensure the IT organization maintains the highest levels of safety, ethics, and quality.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related discipline.

  • 10+ years of increasing IT experience, including a minimum of 3 years leading an IT team or function.

  • Prior experience leading IT in a manufacturing environment is required.

  • Demonstrated experience supporting ERP systems; SAP experience is considered a strong asset.

  • Strong communication, project management, and customer service skills.

  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and related principles.

  • Ability to travel to other regional sites as required.

  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
