Adecco is currently hiring a full-time reliable and safety-conscious Recycler / Forklift Operator to join our client’s warehouse team in Bolton, ON. In this dual-role position, you will be responsible for operating forklifts to move materials and equipment, as well as sorting and processing recyclable materials in a safe and efficient manner. The ideal candidate is experienced in forklift operations, understands recycling practices, and is committed to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

  • Pay Rate: $20.00 - $20.60/ hour

  • Location: Bolton, ON

  • Shift: Afternoons 5:45am- 3:45pm OR 3:45pm- 1:45am, 4 days a week, including weekends

  • Job type: Temporary | full-time

  • Vacancy Status: This posting is for an existing vacancy.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive a “Stand Up Rotator” or “sit down rotator” truck or tugger truck with around the DC to pick up any one of 5 different styles of recycling bin

  • Bring filled bins to the appropriate recycling locations and empty bins into the compactors

  • Pick up bales of cardboard and plastic wrap from Compactors as required and deliver to appropriate areas

  • Manually unload any carts of cardboard and plastic wrap into Compactors as needed (only for those operating the Tugger)

  • Housekeeping duties/ cleaning as assigned and at end of shift

Qualifications:

  • Must have good communication and language skills

  • Must be able to work independently

  • Must be reliable and able to handle responsibility

  • Must be able to show discipline towards attendance

  • Experience operating high end power equipment, sit down and stand-up forklift experience, experience operating with a rotator attachment preferred.

  • Forklift license would be an added bonus

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
