Adecco, in partnership with Consolidated Office Installation Services (COIS), is recruiting motivated and experienced Office Furniture Installers. This role is ideal for individuals with hands on installation experience, strong practical skills, and a commitment to delivering high quality work in corporate and institutional environments.

  • Location: Ottawa, ON.

  • Salary: $22–$25 per hour

  • Full time: 30-35 hours per week.

  • Vacancy: 1

Position Overview
Office Furniture Installers are responsible for delivering, placing, assembling, and installing office furniture in business and institutional settings. Experience with major systems (e.g., Haworth, Steelcase, Teknion, Herman Miller, Global, Allsteel, Knoll) is an asset.

Success in this role requires the ability to read floor plans, follow installation instructions, and complete assemblies accurately. Worksites vary but are typically professional environments, requiring strong teamwork, professionalism, and clear communication. Compensation is based on experience and a valid driver’s license.

Requirements

  • Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset

  • Must have own tools

  • Must be bondable

  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.

  • Available to work regular hours, with occasional evenings and weekends as required

  • Legally entitled to work in Canada

  • Ability to obtain a satisfactory police background check (required upon offer)

  • Reliability or Secret Clearance is an asset

Skills and Experience

  • Experience with office systems furniture assembly and installation

  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, and product specifications

  • Ability to safely load and unload trucks with furniture, supplies, and equipment

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team

  • Safe and proficient use of hand and power tools

  • Ability to perform service and repair assessments

  • Adherence to all safety protocols and quality standards

  • Required: personal tools and appropriate safety gear (hard hat, safety boots)
