Compensation:

Responsibilities
- Driving a Tractor/Trailer, days and times to be determined
- Responsible for movement of trailers in the yard
- Maintain a safe and orderly storage arrangement for all items handled
- Check and maintain fuel and fluids in PBC owned tractors on a daily basis
- Communicate loading information to and from the Shipping Department
- Perform all assigned duties in a safe and productive manner
- Day, Night and Weekend Shift Flexibility required
- Additional duties as assigned by Supervisor
- Stay Compliant with safety standards as per PBC/MOT requirements. Including Pre/Post trips and ELD’s
Qualifications
- A valid Class 1 Driver’s license required;
- A clean abstract as well as a proven safe driving record
- TDG certificate
- Ability to demonstrate excellent defensive driving skills and professional driver techniques
- High degree of written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to multitask safely and efficiently; Be able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be able to take directions from multiple sources while performing as a team player
- Must be able to work shifts and overtime as required
- Dependable with strong customer focus and the ability to quickly adapt to the changing needs of our internal customers.
- Candidates will perform a proper brake adjustment; complete a thorough Pre-trip inspection, identifying components most subject to wear.
