Adecco is currently hiring several part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a dynamic, nurse-led specialty clinic environment in St. John’s  NL. This role offers the opportunity to provide direct patient care while administering biologics and other specialty medications across multiple therapeutic areas including dermatology, gastroenterology, rheumatology, neurology, and oncology.

You will play a key role in patient assessment, treatment administration, and ongoing care management, helping to improve patient access to specialized therapies and supporting individuals through complex treatment pathways.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and monitor phototherapy treatments for dermatology patients

  • Provide medical support and education to patients and healthcare providers on diseases, therapies, and treatment plans

  • Administer and monitor IV infusions, injectable medications, vaccines (IM/SC), and biologic therapies

  • Deliver patient education, including self-injection training

  • Coordinate biologic treatments and support dermatology patient care pathways

  • Perform phlebotomy for required lab work

  • Monitor patients post-treatment and accurately document all activities

  • Review patient histories and maintain detailed and confidential patient records

  • Collaborate with physicians, pharmacies, and healthcare providers to ensure coordinated patient care

  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development

  • Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, including monitoring, data collection, follow-up care, and adverse event reporting

  • Follow all provincial College of Nurses guidelines and clinic policies

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Newfoundland

  • CPR and First Aid certification required

  • Minimum 2–4 years of infusion experience or related clinical experience is an asset

  • Experience in dermatology, IBD, rheumatology, neurology, or oncology is considered an asset

  • Ability to administer medications confidently (IM and SC)

  • Experience in acute care, emergency, or critical care settings is an asset

  • Must provide proof of professional liability insurance

  • Strong passion for patient care and improving access to treatment

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote, collaborative team

  • Excellent communication and patient education skills

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities

  • Flexibility to adapt to patient and healthcare provider needs

  • Understanding of the pharmaceutical industry is an asset

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
