Adecco is currently partnering with a growing industrial services organization expanding its footprint across Canada. As part of this growth, we are seeking a hands-on General Manager to lead operations, support commercial performance, and play a key role in scaling the business locally.

This is an excellent opportunity for an operational leader from an industrial services, infrastructure, or heavy industry environment looking to step into a broad, high-impact role with strong long-term growth potential.

In this role, you will oversee day-to-day operations across Canada while contributing to business performance, team leadership, and market development.

This role requires a balance of operational execution, commercial awareness, and leadership, with the opportunity to grow alongside the business as it expands.

  • Pay Rate: Competitive compensation aligned to experience ($140K–$160K + bonus)

  • Location: Dartmouth, Nova Scotia (travel across Canada required)

  • Job type: Permanent | Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage operations across Canada within an industrial services environment

  • Oversee performance of a site, region, or business unit

  • Support and contribute to business development and client relationships

  • Take ownership of budgets, forecasting, and P&L performance

  • Drive operational efficiency, continuous improvement, and safety standards

  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing operations team

  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety requirements

  • Partner with leadership on growth and expansion initiatives across Canada

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Background in industrial services, infrastructure, construction services, logistics, or a related field

  • Proven experience managing operations, a site, or business unit

  • Strong understanding of P&L, cost control, and business performance

  • A hands-on leader who can operate both strategically and operationally

  • Experience working in fast-paced, project-based or service-driven environments

  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
