Adecco is currently hiring a full-time skilled CNC Operator to join our client’s manufacturing team in Bowmanville, ON. In this role, you will set up, program, and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts while meeting quality, safety, and production standards. This is an opportunity to contribute to a high‑performing manufacturing environment with a focus on quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

  • Pay Rate: $24.33 – $30.42/hour (based on experience)

  • Location: Bowmanville, ON

  • Job type: Permanent | Full-time

  • Vacancy Status: This posting is for an existing vacancy.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up, program, and operate CNC machines to perform rough‑to‑finish machining operations, following engineering blueprints and specifications

  • Review and interpret design drawings, ensuring all machining processes meet required tolerances and quality standards

  • Perform in‑process and final quality inspections to verify accuracy, dimensions, and compliance with specifications

  • Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues related to tooling, equipment, or materials

  • Recommend improvements to machining processes, tooling, or workflow to the Supervisor or Plant Manager

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency, quality, and production output

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with company and safety standards

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Formal machinist training (apprenticeship, diploma, or equivalent) with hands‑on CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Proven ability to read, interpret, and work from engineered drawings and technical documentation

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high‑quality work

  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members and leadership

  • Excellent organizational and time‑management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks

  • Physically able to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods as required

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
