Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Accounts Payable Associate to join our client’s finance team in Saint John, NB. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong accounting foundation who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will support daily accounts payable operations, including invoice processing and data validation, while contributing to shared services improvement initiatives.

• Pay Rate: $21.00 - $23.00/hour (based on experience)

• Location: Saint John, NB

• Shift: Monday to Friday | 8:00am – 5:00pm

• Job type: Temporary | Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate and timely data entry, validation, and processing of accounts payable invoices

• Verify invoice details and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

• Resolve discrepancies and respond to vendor and internal inquiries professionally

• Maintain organized and accurate accounts payable records

• Participate in shared services projects and continuous process improvement initiatives

• Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and support month-end activities

• Deliver a high level of internal customer service

Qualifications and Skills:

• Diploma with a concentration in Accounting or equivalent relevant experience

• 1–2+ years of accounts payable or related accounting experience

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong skills in MS Excel

• Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
