Adecco is currently hiring an Accounting Manager for a full-time opportunity. This role is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and taking ownership of full-cycle accounting and financial accuracy.

If you have strong full-cycle accounting experience and enjoy resolving discrepancies, improving processes, and building reliable financial foundations, this could be a great fit.

  • Salary: $90,000–$115,000/year

  • Location: Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday (full-time)

  • Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Execute full-cycle accounting, including preparing and posting journal entries

  • Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies

  • Lead the month-end close process end-to-end, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

  • Prepare accurate financial statements and supporting schedules

  • Support catch-up initiatives by clearing accounting backlogs and reconciliation gaps

  • Assist with AP and AR processes, including resolving discrepancies

  • Perform inventory reconciliations and COGS analysis

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial variance analysis

  • Assist with audit preparation and maintain strong internal controls

  • Support process improvements and system enhancements (ERP/BI tools)

Qualifications

  • Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • CPA designation or near completion required

  • 5–9 years of full-cycle accounting experience

  • Strong experience with reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting

  • Advanced Excel skills (including formulas and data analysis tools)

  • Experience in retail or consumer goods environment is an asset

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
