Adecco is currently hiring a full-time dedicated and hardworking Custom Lead Fabrication Worker to join one of our manufacturing clients specializing in lead‑based products in Stoney Creek, ON. This role is performed in a highly regulated industrial environment with strict health and safety standards.

This role requires you to comply with elevated safety requirements, including the use of a Powered Air‑Purifying Respirator (PAPR), and must complete pre‑placement medical screening, including a baseline lead test and physical assessment. A criminal background check is also required.

This is a physically demanding role suited to individuals who are safety‑focused, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working in warm industrial environments.

  • Pay Rate: $23.50/hour

  • Location: Stoney Creek ON

  • Shift: 6:30am to 2:30pm Mondays to Fridays 

  • Job type: Permanent | Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Operate production equipment including extrusion presses and CNC machines

  • Perform casting of molten lead and burning/soldering of lead components

  • Safely operate hand tools and power tools

  • Inspect products during production runs to ensure quality standards are met

  • Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and material handling

  • Follow instructions from supervisors to complete assigned tasks efficiently

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on schedule

  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures

  • Identify and report safety hazards or equipment malfunctions promptly

  • Perform daily cleaning of equipment and properly store PAPR equipment

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects

  • Basic knowledge of construction, manufacturing, or general labour tasks is preferred

  • Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively as part of a team

  • Good communication skills to interact with supervisors and coworkers

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

  • Willingness to learn new skills and techniques

  • Ability to operate a forklift; valid forklift license preferred

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
