Adecco is currently hiring a Solutions Architect for a full-time contract opportunity based in Ottawa. This hybrid role requires on-site presence approximately 3 days per month and the ability to obtain a Reliability Clearance.

This position is ideal for a technically strong professional with deep experience in Azure cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation, who thrives in Agile environments and enjoys building scalable, reliable systems.

  • Salary: $120,000 – $160,000

  • Location: Ottawa, ON (Hybrid – 3 days/month on-site)

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday | 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

  • Job Type: Full-time | Temporary | 1.5-year contract

Responsibilities

  • Document system architecture, workflows, and changes using Confluence to support knowledge sharing and transparency

  • Ensure the availability, performance, and security of cloud infrastructure and applications through monitoring and best practices

  • Evaluate and enhance infrastructure and deployment processes to improve reliability and delivery speed

  • Automate provisioning and configuration of cloud environments to ensure consistency and efficiency

  • Manage multiple environments (development, testing, production) while maintaining system stability and alignment

  • Design, develop, and deploy containerized applications to support scalability and portability

  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Git-based repositories

  • Utilize JIRA to manage tasks, sprints, and deliverables in alignment with Agile methodologies

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to collaborative project delivery

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and technical teams to meet project objectives and implement best practices

Qualifications

  • Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada

  • University degree or college diploma in a technology-related field

  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or infrastructure automation

  • Strong experience with Microsoft Azure services and solutions

  • Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementations

  • Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools such as ARM, Bicep, or Terraform

  • Experience working in Agile environments using tools like JIRA and Confluence

  • Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to document for technical and non-technical audiences

  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Experience building strong relationships with stakeholders

  • Bilingualism (French/English) is considered an asset

  • Must be eligible to obtain a Reliability Security Clearance
